Industrial Installation for Local Engineering Company

Recently The Oxford Electrical Company completed a large new installation for a long-standing client on a new mezzanine which included new engineer’s work benches, machine supplies and offices. The installation needed to be creative when designing to help with the flexibility and expansion plans they have in place.

We took on the full design of the installation from cables routes and containment sizing to cable calculations using the latest Amtech software. Some of the containment installed included metal conduit, trunking, basket and tray.

We used several different types of cables within this installation including SWA, LSF twin & earth, firetuf, LSF Cat6 and single insulated cables.

The client was more than happy to supply a recommendation:

“I have used The Oxford Electrical Company as our primary electrical contractor since 2013 when we wanted a professional service that could help with our fast expansion plans over the next 5 years. We have been very pleased with the service, the professionalism and high quality of work that the team of electricians provided. I have also been pleased with the fast response times and flexibility when we have had to use their service for unplanned situations. In addition, the costs are very competitive, and they have offered various solutions to help with our budget demands. The team are well presentable, professional and work in a tidy manner which is very important when every day is a visitor day. All in all, I can highly recommend The Oxford Electrical Company.”
