The Oxford Mechanical & Electrical Company were commissioned for the design and installation of the mechanical and public health systems at this new dwelling, refurbing a traditional town house into a stunning new home.

This high-end residential project demanded the highest standards in comfort, efficiency, and reliability. We delivered a comprehensive installation tailored to meet the exacting requirements of luxury living.

The Project Included:

Strip out and make safe all existing and redundant mechanical building services
Supply, install and commission a new LTHW heating system
New gas-fired boilers and ancillary plant
Modification of existing circuits and controls

New radiators and underfloor heating
New BMS System.
Installation of new sanitaryware to WC and kitchen areas including new plumbing

The Result

A sophisticated low temperature hot water (LTHW) heating system designed for optimal zonal control and energy efficiency, providing individually regulated comfort across all living spaces. We installed premium radiators and underfloor heating systems, to complement the property’s high-end finishes.

The domestic hot water installation features commercial-grade components ensuring instant hot water delivery throughout the property. We incorporated a future-proof bypass arrangement to facilitate booster set installation if required, carefully designed to maintain the integrity of the Legionella control strategy while preserving mains water supply directly to the kitchen. All sanitary plumbing was executed to the highest standards, incorporating quality fixtures and fittings that match the luxury specification.
Our work encompassed all above ground drainage systems. Every element was carefully coordinated with the architectural vision.
