The Oxford Electrical Company were contracted to design, install, and commission a new comprehensive electrical systems for the entire project, ensuring modern, efficient, and safe electrical infrastructure.

Our responsibilities

The brief for the houses was simplicity, with a generic specification across the 6 new homes including energy efficient lighting, power throughout, Gas boiler for heating, white accessories and dimmable downlights.

The apartments were a little more complex, with the communal area requiring a stay put fire strategy with additional fire stopping arrangements, automatic opening ventilation (AOV) to clear the smoke in the case of a fire, using actuators on all floors and a smoke chamber spanning the full height of the building.

We incorporated a Entrotec door entry system, which is renowned for its manufacturing and high quality audio distribution, enhancing security and convenience.
