The Oxford Electrical Company is a well-established electrical company supplying a wide range of services in and around Oxfordshire, from basic additions and alterations for residential clients to commercial refurbishments and industrial 3-phase installations. We offer a full management and design service to ensure that clients’ projects are run competently, efficiently and completed on time.

Nick Hill started the company in 2012. The business was built with the belief that all projects, no matter the size are equally important and with a real passion to offer a service within the industry like no other.

The Secret to our Success

Nick has built The Oxford Electrical Company to the size it is today by having the experience and knowledge, the right attitude to customer service and job management and most importantly, the correct workforce. Because they operate at a personal level and expect all their engineers to be customer facing and demonstrate team spirit they are very selective with their employees.

Our Services

Response Service

The Oxford Electrical Company’s response service aims to be with you as quickly as possible. The response service is for those that either need an emergency electrician or have a small job that will only require a couple of hours work.

Nick Hill – Operations Director

Nick began his electrical career as an apprentice before progressing and gaining experience in different areas of the industry from new build developments to large industrial installations. Nick has invested a lot of time in training and is always looking to gain as much experience in the industry as possible. His can-do attitude and proactive approach has contributed to the growth of The Oxford Electrical Company to date, with clients returning daily.

Lewis Accleton- Mechanical Director

Lewis has worked across consultancy and contracting on many highly prestigious private dwellings and commercial projects over the past two decades. He has a wealth of technical and commercial experience having begun his career as an M&E quantity surveyor, gaining experience in project management, estimating and design whilst becoming mechanically biased.  Lewis is passionate about delivering real world solutions to our clients, blending common sense with technology to provide a positive experience of mechanical systems.

Tom Bailey – Mechanical Operations Manager

Tom’s career has given him over 15 years’ experience in everything from large scale domestic projects to prefabricated plant installations for data centres across Europe. He’s the first to state how fortunate he’s been to work with some great people in the industry and firmly believes; relationships with our clients and supply chains will be the key to our continued success.

With a practical and upfront approach to works, Tom continues to help us build the team of engineers and managers who follow our core values.

Ryan Molyneux – Senior Electrical Project Manager

Ryan has over 13 years of professional experience in the electrical industry, specialising in delivering high-quality solutions across a diverse range of projects — from Cat A commercial fitouts to luxury residential developments. He has a proven track record of working collaboratively with clients and consultants to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Lesley Wellstead – Accounts

Lesley is head of our accounts.

In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, and walk with her gorgeous dog Ruby.

Adam Pagano – Project Supervisor

Adam is a prime example of our company culture, being our first employed apprentice, he has worked his way through the ranks, shown a can-do attitude and is loved by everyone at the company and our clients are always quick to request Adams involvement with their next project.

Jim Smith – Project Supervisor

Jim has worked with us, as a lead electrician, for the past four years successfully delivering jobs on time and to a great standard. Jim has recently progressed his career and is based in our office as a project supervisor. Prior to working with The Oxford Electrical Company, Jim had worked as a project manager and has therefore been able to settle into his new role with surprising ease and bring some great ideas with him. He started his apprenticeship in 1999 so has a wealth of knowledge on all kinds of jobs and is the first one to share his experience.

Carolyn Measures – Assistant Estimator

Carolyn joins us bringing a wealth of experience in admin, previously working in healthcare she is very organised and proactive with helping around the office.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Stephanie Castle – Response Co-ordinator

With more than 13 years’ experience working within the electrical industry, Steph brings with her a wealth of experience to the office team. When not working, she likes reading a good book and cherishing moments with friends and family.
